17 pages in and it's rapey as hell. I don't know if I can finish it. Peyton keeps touching and pursuing Novo, despite her saying no over and over again. He's telling her "you know you want it". And another character blaming her for his behavior. "Your presence is enough to encourage him". Been reading these books for years and never before has one of these characters crossed that line. I can't view these characters as "heroes" when they are embodying the very rape culture that has become overwhelmingly prevalent this last year.

Blood Fury by J.R. Ward Genres: Adult, Paranormal, Romance, Suspense 5 Stars I absolutely loved every word, sentence and paragraph. As usual J.R. Ward has delivered a story that has all the elements of yet another masterpiece. You are not the reader, but a participant in this world. You are connected in every sense of the word. You don't just read her Black Dagger books. You live it. You breath it. You fully experience it. In truth, you yearn for the next story like an addict for their next fix. In this one we get Peyton & Novo's story. They are the main mc's. While I loved their story, what I really loved..... Is Saxton! Saxton & Ruhn. Who knew Saxton had it in him to be a badass! I only wish we had more of them. They were definitely some of my favorite parts.

This book was great! Not too much going on at one time and therefore more character development. Even worked in hints of what's coming in The Thief. I can't wait!
