So I liked parts of this and didn't like others. I think my main gripe is the main character feels contrived at times - warped to suit the plot development. Otherwise, a reasonable read.

Kim Stone is back on top form in the fifth book in what has to be one of the best series ever written! Along side Bryant, her faithful Detective Inspector and friend. Also back is Kim's nemesis Dr Alex Thorne, as controlling as ever, albeit being behind bars, but unfortunately this isn't enough to stop her mind games with Kim who she has developed an almost admiring crush on and it immediately becomes clear she hasn't finished trying to ruin Kim.

I am a true fan of Ms. Marson's work. Her style and intellect is most impressive; not to mention giving you a thrill each time! Thanks. Lonely P.M.
