I love the multiverse and was looking forward to reading this next installment. I got a little confused with going back and forth on different storylines, but getting to reconnect with the characters I'd already met was good. This book also goes into the fairy tale world with an encounter with Snow White. It seemed a little disjointed, like it wasn't finished yet when I got to the end. I'm hoping the 4th book in this series will clear up some things. I do always love the stories from the multiverse and this was an easy, quick read. This story will get the mind whirling. It blends paranormal romance, mystery, and fantasy. It is best read after “The Last Sunflower” and “Bird of Paradise.” The plot is full of twisted action. It makes more sense if you are familiar with D.N. Leo’s multiverse. The stories are sometimes confusing, but once you get interested in the characters, you want to know what happens to them. The story ends without getting all our questions answered. We must wait for the next book to find out what happens.

It's always great to catch up with Bertram and Jasmine. In this book we also get to find out what happened to Emma. Let's just say in this book things don't go as expected for anyone and the changes that occur can be unsettling.
