This book was soo much better than I anticipated. When it started with a hung over hero, and what seemed to be a meek heroine, I was expecting something completely different. One of those, oh she's going to save him from himself kinda things. Instead, we got something completely different. Alexandra Ivy has created an amazing world that is more and more complex. She layers the magic in with family and how the world really works today. Then she tops it off with characters that are so complicated and rich. You can't pigeonhole any of her characters, and if you do, she will throw you for a loop. And there is a dooozy at the end if you aren't paying attention. I can't wait to learn more about this world and these characters.

Loved the chemistry, comedy and passion these two had for each other. Also enjoyed the secondary characters very much whom I hope will have stories of their own. Happy reading!
