About this ebook

A bewitching paranormal murder mystery, bitter and sweet.

Bound by magic, bound by love, bound by murder…

In a family with two witchy sisters, Karin’s lack of magic stings. But when she finds a body in flighty, big sister Jayce’s coffee shop, a dark enchantment begins to unravel. And Karin and her small town will never be the same.

As Karin works to untangle the murder, the knottier the mystery of her mountain home becomes. Why are hikers vanishing in the nearby woods? Why are some people cursed with bad luck and others with good? And what is Jayce’s handsome new lawyer hiding?

With her sister’s fate hanging by a thread, Karin must untangle the truth. And death stalks ever closer…

Follow the magic with the Doyle Witch trilogy, starting with book 1, Bound. Each book has its own complete mystery and romance told from a different sister’s point of view, and Bound, Down and Ground can all be enjoyed independently, with a magical storyline weaving through the three books.

If you’re a fan of Sookie Stackhouse, Practical Magic, and paranormal women’s fiction mysteries, don’t miss Bound. Escape into the enchanting world of Doyle today.

Knot magic spells at the back of the book!

Three sisters grow up under a curse in a small California town. The girls are witches and just learning of this curse now, as their aunt lies dying and one sister is being investigated on charges of murder. This book follows Karin as she researches the curse and the murder and keeps coming into contact with the sexy lawyer her sister hired. A cute, cozy mystery romance, my enjoyment was only hindered by the curse, not the nature of it, but the wording. It's from 1850, but written like it was from 1580, paired with the over-use of the word "ancestress" (sorry, that's just an ancestor) it really grated on me and kept confusing me as to how old this curse was supposed to be. This was pretty jarring for me, but not enough to make me give up on the book.

This book is a supernatural detective story. It was a compelling story, but like most books in a series it ended on a cliffhanger. I find that a little frustrating as a reader. We find out who did it, but all the underlying questions aren't answered in this story. I also would have like to see the budding romance of the main character have more depth to it, but I suppose it will occur in the next story as well.

I will read the book, but frankly I am very put off that you allowed a DETAILED SPOILER TO BE POSTED ON YOUR REVIEWS,. Someone told the entire story and plot. I flagged & deleted immediately, so I cannot provide you a name. Please in the future, I am an Amazon Prime account, I expect not to see this again. I can still cancel or upgrade, so if my business is worth keeping, please review the reviews to be certain that this DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN. I feel confident I am not the only person who feels this way!
