In this riveting finale, Cynthia Hand explores the timeless question of whether it is better to follow the rules or your heart. This incandescent paranormal romance will win the hearts of fans of Becca Fitzpatrick, Andrea Cremer, and Cassandra Clare.

Now, with the fallen angel who attacked her watching her every move and the threat of Black Wings looming, Clara knows she must finally fulfill her destiny—a destiny that includes Christian Prescott by her side. But in order to complete her purpose, Clara must first find a way to give up the thing she wants most . . . a future with the boy she loves, Tucker Avery.

This book is soooo amaaaazing as ever. I love the plottwists and everything about it EXCEPT FOR THE ENDING. I hate it that Clara ended up with Tucker uhhh I hate him. I hope there'll be another book about what happened to Christian or when Tucker dies after about fifty years and Clara and Christian will be happy together. I'm Team Christian all the way that's why my heart is crushed when he said goodbye uhh I can't get over it. What happened to Christian noooo :(((

This book was amazingly written and beautiful! This series has been one of the best I have read next to divergent and hunger games, no that this series is like those. I don't know what else to say but it was an amazing journey and I am sad to see it end. Some people will absolutely love the ending while others may not but in a good strange way it fits the story. SPOILERS NOW I am trying to answer some confusion I saw with other reviews. Jeffery had to save Tucker during the fire because it would lead to the moment where Tucker would fall out of the sky and that whole thing with Clara saving him. He also had a vision of that very moment so it appears that Jeffery's purpose was to protect Tucker and save him so he could become this prophet. Christian remains single because he says he will never give up on her, don't you see similarity. It is almost exactly what happened to Clara's mother but in a different circumstance. Clara ends up with Tucker (aka clara's dad in her moms situation) and Christian remains single always loving her and never willing to give up (aka samjezza) which F.Y.I samjezza makes me think on grilled cheezus from glee if you know what I mean.

I was captured by this book the moment I started reading. The author doesn't waste time going into boring details only the best parts of Claras adventures. Oh I loved these books so much. So sad that they are done):
