He looked like an athlete. Maybe he was a wrestler or a bodyguard. Was this the man who had held him down? Judging by his muscles, it was no surprise why he had overpowered him so easily when Miles had tried to fight him off.
“I know you’re awake, Mate,” the man said without turning around. “Get over here so you can eat. You need to restore yourself.”
Miles groaned. So much for the chance of sneaking away while the man had his back on him.
