BRENDA JOYCE JOHNSON is a charismatic change agent for today’s woman. As an accomplished Master Image and Etiquette Coach, speaker and educator, her life is guided by a passionate commitment to provide venues that support and empower women and professionals to be all they can be. In this volume, Brenda compiles 30 years of business and personal coaching expertise to inspire, enlighten and encourage today’s woman to embrace the power of her potential. With a passion for youth, as the CEO and founder of the non-profit, The Gold Medallion Foundation (see www.thegoldmedallionfoundation.org) and The School of Esther (S.O.E. Academy), Brenda has both directly and indirectly touched the lives of hundreds of youth and adults as a trainer and coach. Since 1997, she has directed and sponsored more than two dozen 10-12 week cotillion programs providing life skills, social dance and etiquette training. Brenda is also the president of Training by Design, LLC, Brenda has spent over 25 years as an entrepreneur, trainer and educator. She has been a “Team Effectiveness” and “Diversity” trainer with Procter and Gamble and has facilitated countless business etiquette, personal image and dining etiquette presentations for entrepreneurs, corporations, private industry, universities and educational institutions. In January of 2014, she launched the Essentials Image & Etiquette webinar training program for individuals desiring to gain expertise as image and etiquette professionals. The training is currently active and is available via Training by Design, LLC. She enjoys writing and sponsoring special events and educational retreats to empower women. Brenda’s diverse career has included serving as the Dean of Students in an Ohio charter school, teaching 5th grade at a Christian school and has established countless in-school and after-school programs, public speaking competitions and career development programs for youth and community organizations. Brenda is a Business Communications and Fashion Merchandise graduate of West Virginia State University and was ordained to the Christian ministry in January of 2000. She and her husband, The Reverend Dr. Lonnell E. Johnson, are the proud parents of two adult daughters, Melissa Dawn Simkins (William) and Angela Renee’ Joyner (Shajuan). She and her husband serve with the ecclesiastical ministry of Christian Provision Ministries, under the leadership of Bishop Charles & Pastor Patti Mellette, Sanford, Ohio.
