Colt and Wylder have been friends since childhood, and though they've shared each other's triumphs and tragedies, they've never both been attracted to the same woman. Until Bliss is hired as their new housekeeper/cook, and suddenly their friendship is put to the ultimate test. Wylder is the dark one, full of secret torments that express themselves in a deliciously dominant manner. Colt is the easy-going guy, the one whose heart is big enough for all of them, especially since Wylder keeps his securely packed away. Bliss may not have the same experience as her two bosses, but she knows a thing or two about valuing herself and about the importance of emotional vulnerability. I loved how she stood up to them both, insisting that they make their feelings known before she puts her heart on the line. You'd think that the competition for Bliss's heart would pit these two cowboy buddies against each other, but that's where this author's genius comes in. Their friendship is examined in the same intimate detail as their blossoming romance with Bliss is, giving such amazing depth to each character that you can't help falling in love with all three. These three find their happiness in a way that surprises them all, while giving the reader the dirty, decadent reading experience we've come to expect from this brilliant author. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
