4.5 Stars for the new stand-alone Bro Code by Kendall Ryan. Once again this author has given us another fun, flirty, passionate, easy to read book that I read in one sitting. It’s a very simple no fuss, no drama must read that’s well written with the perfect mix of humour, love and passion.... Ava is the easy to love heroine, she is strong, sassy and funny and she has crushed on her brothers best friend forever, Barrett is the man her dreams and fantasies are always about but we all know brothers besties are off limits. Barrett is a workaholic trying to make partner at the law firm he works for in Chicago but he is getting to that stage in his life where partying is less attractive and settling down and building a family is what he might just be needing but the problem is the girl who haunts his dreams is no other that Ava his best friends sister and we all know according to the Bro Code that’s a no go area... Another masterpiece from Kendall Ryan, characters you will fall in love with, chemistry that’s sizzling hot and if love friends to lovers with a lot of humour you will want to read this book.

This best friend’s little sister romance was sweet, sexy and made me smile a lot. Barrett Wilson is best friend’s with Ava Saunder’s brother Nick and has been for over two decades. But what started out as just friendship, became something more when Barrett returns to his hometown for Ava and Nick’s dad’s retirement party. With nowhere else to stay, he ends up at the Saunders’ home, along with Ava who’s just moved back home too. From the moment of their shocking and hilarious reacquaintance in a bathroom it’s lust at first sight, but the ‘bro code’ has Barrett trying to keep Ava at arms length. It’s a lesson in futility that they both try to learn but fail at completely. This story was such fun to read, Barrett was perfectly swoony worthy and Ava a sassy and feisty bombshell. The chemistry was palpable from that first ‘big’ meeting and only grew stronger the longer they spent together. Ava was strong-willed and knew what she wanted, from running her dad’s factory to Barrett, but could she have it all? Barrett has dilemmas of his own, not the least being the unsworn promise not to mess with his best friend’s sister. His job has him in a sticky place too. He’s forced to make a choice. It’s a hard decision, because if he decides wrongly he’ll lose everything he’s been working toward becoming a partner at his law firm. But, doing what his bosses want would mean losing Ava forever. What will he decide? Find out today when you One-Click and read the Bro Code.

Kendall Ryan is one of my go to authors when I am in the mood for a light romantic story. She always manages to create delicious alpha BBF that I can swoon over and heroines that I can see myself being friends with. And Bro Code is not an exception. Barrett and Ava are two intriguing characters that captivated me from the very start. Their story is sweet and romantic, definitely hot and a little bit naughty :) Barrett and Ava are two intriguing characters. They are quite different but the connection between them is undeniable. And though there are obstacles in the way of them being together, they feelings developing between them cannot be denied. With every covert look at each other, every stolen kiss, their resistance is weakening and they realise that they are made for each other. In my opinion, it was just beautiful the way they finally came together. So be sure to check it out ;) As I already mentioned, this is a beautiful romantic story. It is a great read if you are in the mood for something sweet and relaxing with a hint of hot. So, if you are looking for a good vacation read, or simply a relaxing one, you are on the right place :)
