Mrs. Thomson died and left an estate of 50 thousand pounds to her estranged daughter. If Phoebe Thomson fails to claim it in 25 years, it will revert to Mr. Browlow, the trustee. Brownlow's first reaction to the estate is disgust, but that attitude changes when his daughter is born.
