They call chapter one making your first application and in chapter 2 they talk about that application that "WE" made although how to actually make the application was never explained and they simply told you how make a new blank project and then skipped the part where they wrote code and assumed that we knew how to do that part I for one purchased this book hoping to learn how write java for android but was very disappointed to find out that it only explains the obvious parts like making a new project
