Bio 1 of 2: 'Joyce Ashton': JOYCE ASHTON IS A REGISTERED nurse and certified bereavement advisor. She is currently the Director of Spiritual Care for Rocky Mountain Hospice in eight offices and the Bereavement Coordinator for Davis/Weber Counties. Dennis is a licensed clinical social worker, former bishop, and assistant commissioner for LDS Family Services. He is currently serving on the executive council of LDS Family services. Dennis was a guest on KRNS and KSL following the Salt Lake City Trolley Square shooting and Crandall Canyon Mine disaster. Dennis also represented LDS FS providing humanitarian support and training to refugees fleeing Kosovo, Tsunami victims in Indonesia, and street children projects in Mexico. He has also appeared on Living Essentials. Joyce and Dennis teach at BYU Education Week and have been broadcast on KBYU-TV. They have also had the privilege of presenting at a couple of BYU women's conferences. They have authored five other books, including Jesus Wept; Loss and Grief Recovery; and But if Not, Volumes I, II, and III. They have also published online and journal articles.
