First off. WAY better than 50 shades of Grey in all aspects. The characters
are richly described emotionally, physically and everything else in
between. It can a be a hard read, especially since it involves rape,
murder, and psychological abuse but it's what makes the read BELIEVABLE and
hard to put down. So many twists that makes sense by the end. It's a sad
but engaging story. 10/10

This made me cry multiple times, and I'm on SSRI's so thats quite the feat. The way Roberts writes is gripping! I couldn't stop reading, this is no 'fast forward to the smut' book - I'm so glad I bought it after reading the first.

After reading the first book I wasn't sure if I wanted to read this book. The beginning had me bored, i almost gave up. But let me tell you...the twists, the way the relatiomship evolves and the ending are so worth it. I didn't stop reading until i completely finished the book. I can't wait to read the Epilogue.

CJ Roberts is an independent writer. She favors dark and erotic stories with taboo twists and her work has been called both sexy and disturbing in the same sentence.
She was born and raised in Southern California. Following high school, she joined the U.S. Air Force in 1998, served ten years and traveled the world.
