It’s a holiday tale like no other with an appearance from the big guy himself—that’s right, Santa Claus. Only, the Egyptian demigod takes issue with some of Santa’s more nefarious practices.

Medjed is an ancient diety/demon, the lines are a tad blurry as to what he is. He is called to his new job with the Wyvern Protection Unit. He gets called to his job where his boss is having a mini melt down thanks to him although he doesn't understand how he could be doing something wrong. Meanwhile, Candy, a Christmas elf, is on her way home after finding her mate until he's called away by who she assumes is his other woman. When he returns to her he tries to explain and is interrupted by that corruptor of young--Santa Claws. Now Santa is trying to mediate the situation. Oopsiie! Medjed is sent to the North Pole on a mission from the Wyvern Protection Unit. Candy Kane is a Christmas Elf and the two connect quickly inside a cave in the human world. She leaves him the next morning due to miscommunications, but once those are cleared it is full speed ahead. Great characters all around and Santa as the mediator was fun. The storyline had a vivid world, a baby penguin, lots of hot chocolate and cookies. Great chemistry and terrific ending. I received a free copy of this

This was an awesome read. Mejed finds his mate, only to lose her to a misunderstanding. Now he has to find her and win her back. This was a great short read. C.D. Gorri did an amazing job with this sweet but very steamy romance. A love written in the stars. Highly entertaining from the beginning. Mejed is a wild card!.
