The Collected Works of C. G. Jung forms one of the basic texts of twentieth-century thought: at once foundational for depth psychology and pivotal for intellectual, cultural, and religious history. The writings presented here, spanning five decades, embody Jung's attempt to establish an interdisciplinary science of analytical psychology, and apply its insights to the fields of psychiatry, criminology, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, personality psychology, anthropology, physics, biology, education, the arts and literature, the history of the mind and its symbols, comparative religion, alchemy, and contemporary culture and politics, among others: each in turn has been decisively marked by his thought. Of timely and ongoing relevance to the understanding of these fields, Jung's writings are at the same time essential reading for any understanding of the making of the modern mind.

This book is invaluable. In terms of content this is a five-star, I'd give six if I could. In terms of this particular edition, there are things that could be improved. First of all, a sizeable amount pages with pictures are corrupted when using the "original pages" mode. Secondly, there are several typos in the manuscript especially when it comes to Greek and Latin words - typos that don't appear in the original pages or the printed book. Finally, the quota to "copy paste" information is way too low in comparison to the book size. I've already used 18% just by copying words I wanted to Google. Considering the size of the book, I'd appreciate a bigger quota or an annual quota and to have the errors mentioned above fixed.

In my experience the sample was a fascinating read; i was about 500 pages in when I wanted to buy the full copy, but found out its not available in Canada for some reason, a few months back it was available can anyone help me understand why I can't buy this series?
