I have enjoyed this series as i have all of CJ Archers books. I appreciate the storyline,the character development, the trust and friendship, the complexities of the heart... the one thing I was not happy with was the treatment of Purgatory. Suspension of disbelief would have been easier for me had other names been given to heaven, hell and purgatory, and other titles given to the Catholic Church and to priests. I understand purgatory to be a place where souls deserving of heaven go to be purified of their faults and made ready to enter into heaven. None of the persons there will ever end up in hell. And souls in Purgatory would have no problem being in a Catholic Church; the people praying there are often praying for them.

I couldn't put it down it is a great read.
