About this ebook

They wanted me, they came for me, and they found me. When my only option was to flee, I failed to get away, and was taken.

I awoke in a strange cabin, bound and confused. Were these my final moments on this earth? If so, what would become of me?

But then, he appeared, and he released me. He asked for my help, and it was at that point that I realized that nothing was as it seemed. Freed by my captors, and I was their only hope.

But unbeknownst to me, these captors weren’t normal people. The clues were there, but by the time I noticed them, I had already witnessed the truth. The full, magnificent truth.

I had been taken by werewolves.

It's in present-tense 'happening now' 1st-person voice ("he tosses me onto the bed and I scream in fright"), which makes suspension of disbelief difficult to maintain. Add to that a slew of incorrectly pluralized words ("I screams in fright", or "a smile on my mouths") and some outright spelling errors, and it turns a decent, thoughtfully written, interesting plot into a disappointing read, all of which could have been avoided by having someone proofread it and doing a basic spelling & grammar check. =/

Desperately needs proofreading/editing; breaks immersion with the random tense changes, incorrect use of plural forms, & utilization of incorrect terminology (feels like a failed attempt at purple prose).

I'm not a fan of how it ended, even with it being a short novel. I have so many questions that weren't answered. But in all it was a really great book, I was hooked after only reading the first few lines
