The writing in this book is choppy and difficult to read. Because the sentences don't flow well, it was distracting from the story. The plot itself had potential, but wasn't thoroughly developed. There are many gaps and jumps in the plot, making this one of the most frustrating books to follow or believe.

Bold, tough and tender men who protect their women from danger. War plays havoc with people's lives, whether on the battlefield or against other criminals, such as human traffickers.

Not at the top of my list of excellent books, but it isn't bad. You can pretty much tell how it will read.
