When danger comes to close to home and his SEAL family, Mateo steps up but now has a woman who he cares for deeply but is she friend or foe? Suspense, deceit, action packed, angst and so much more.. I just love a book that can deeply invest you in an intense battle between head and heart and this book does just that. This amazing read gives your emotions, feels and nerves a heavy-duty workout. Mateo and Lainey were easy to like and care about and that made everything from the danger to the action to the tension hit that much harder and cut so much deeper. What a truly incredible book.

This one started with a 'bang' literally, and the threat is too close to home, the mercenary group Kraken have reared their evil head once more, as we continue with the teams search to find and neutralise them once and for all, Matteo has to go undercover. He will not allow the targeting of his friends’ families, Mateo was on the hunt, the trail points to Lainey Simpson, his guts telling him she's innocent, and his heart's not far behind, but will romance survive when Lainey finds out the truth?
