Dr. Ree is a propulsion specialist, a genuine rocket scientist, and unwittingly tangled in an espionage related adventure. Whether she is the guilty party, or just the science geek they need to help solve pieces of this puzzle, this book unravels threads of her story. I love that the science geeks in this action series are women - and the weapons dudes and protective teams have male and female members. If you like butt kicking women with brains, tantalizing romantic elements, and global intrigue- I hope you get as hooked as I am on this fun and wild series!

Calculated Deception is the first book in The Calculated Series. I loved this entertaining short story. The characters are well developed, intelligent, and work together well. The storyline is well written, original, and engaging, with danger, deception, betrayal, suspense, and intrigue. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Exciting International Terrorist Story This fictional FBI/CIA story is rated PG, in my view. The story involves international intrigue. The story moves quickly with a well thought out plot, good character development and a very satisfying ending. I read this as part of the Calculated Box Set.
