This was a fun read, and a little different to what I expected. Mars has been on the run since a falling out with her brother. When she visits her friend Peppermint in Silver Springs for a concert, she ends up calling for her three protectors - who body snatch passersby to get to her. And this is where it differed from my expectations. Without spoiling it, I hope, the fates of the borrowed locals was very different to what I thought it would be, in a very good way! The characters were fun. As always, it's good to see familiar faces from previous books pop up, and there are a few here I'd love to see more of as well!

This one felt like a real quick read, or maybe it was just that it was fun and easy to get through. This is a different take on the previous books in this (& the Silver Springs) series' and I liked it! It had some funny moments with Mars' mates, and is focused on Mars and her brother, with some past Silver Springs residents making appearances. A fun read!

Mars is a goddess in hiding. What could go wrong with that? Ha! Just about everything when she hits Silver Springs, as is the case with most of the residents, this town brings out the wacky and weird. Mars should expect nothing less. This story was one misadventure after another and I am here for it. I loved this book so much I didn't want it to end. This is a great story, and since I love anything with a god in it, it's probably my new favorite...until the next god makes an appearance in Silver Springs.
