I honestly feel like the quality is downgrading. I still enjoy the earlier volumes and reread them often. But now it feels stagnant and the food description is not as good. I don't want intense action or something like that, I read for the food. But yeah even that feels kinda repetitive...

stuff is happening, mukoda and his band of merry familiars have an objective now, so should be fun. I do enjoy the newer dynamic of gon and fel being strictly meat focused and mukoda having a perfect way to punish them. also Elrand makes a brief appearance, much to Dora and Gons chagrin, the aftermath of that was hilarious as well. He's still cowardly, but is showing more hints of bravery now. look forward to volume 14 whenever that one arrives.
