About this ebook

The Terran Empire is at war with The Rhimodian cyborgs. The Terrans believe the cyborgs have stolen a system of planets from them. At least, that's how it started.

It degenerated into hatred and fear.

Book 4 in the Galactic Storm Series◆

Imperial Princess Eleanor Bron wants to prove her worth. Though truly, what could she do, as a second child? She was not the heir to the Empire. She was merely the backup plan. While her sister Caoimhe never treated her as anything less, it was obvious that no one expected Eleanor to be more than bartering material for whatever merger the Emperor formed.

The peace treaty with the Rhimodian cyborgs is the first time Eleanor has ever been sent on any sort of diplomatic mission, and she's nervous. After all, their mother died on a diplomatic mission to create a peace treaty with the Rhimodians.

What could happen to her? The spare? The unimportant one?

Jedriek, the youngest in his unit, had initially been bored with the mission of escorting the Terran Ambassadors into the Sol system for the peace negotiations. He would much rather be out there fighting.

At least, that's how he felt about it, until he saw the picture of the Princesses.

Unsure which one is which, Jedriek finds himself immediately drawn to the one with the bright blue eyes.

When the Ambassador's ship explodes, Jedriek finds himself face to face with that very princess. And he is enthralled with her. Petite and curvy, she awakens his Craving like nothing he'd ever known.

More so than any previous experience, Jedriek knows that he will do whatever he has to in order to please her.

Fight the entire Terran Military by himself, if he has to.

When Eleanor crashes on Sol-2, a desert and mountainous moon, she finds herself teaming up with a giant cyborg. Even bigger than she'd been told.

And he stares at her like she's a prize. She'd been seen like a prize before, and she wasn't about to be this cyborg's prize.

So she does the only thing she can think of to save herself and her sister.

She lies.

If you love sci-fi romance, space opera, war in the stars, Terrans, princesses, and cybernetic enhanced humans, you'll love this series about these cyborgs and their human females.

Can peace ever be reached between the Terrans and the Cyborgs? War is ongoing with the knowledge of how it started forgotten, degenerating into hatred and fear. Princess Eleanor, youngest daughter to the Emperor, is matched up with the young Rhimodian giant, Jedriek, in book four of the Galactic Storm series. Prologue: One year prior to her very first negotiation mission, The Rhimodian Peace Treaty, we find her at odds with her father we're trying to use her and her "female status" as a bargaining chip. We find out another despicable level the emperor can stoop to in his greed. Forward to the moment which the emissary's ship was blown up. Eleanor targeted her pod to Sol-2 with Jedriek "hot" on her tail along with the Terrans and Charro. This book felt like it had more dialogue compared to the ones prior. Plus, more towards Eleanor learning more about herself not being second princess and "useless". But, just like the other books in the series, we learn a little bit more about the reasonings behind the ruse of the treaty and what the emperor truly wants. Yet, with the added tidbit that Eleanor holds the missing piece closely, closer than anyone could have "minded". Between the sheets though, while this is an insta-lust/crave/love romance, it's sweetly written as Eleanor matures through her last mental blocks. We head into the last two members of each group: The Emperial Caoimhe and the one who lost his shine, Tarnished Bahran. Really looking forward to this!

Candice knows how to tell a story! All of her books make me want to speed to the end because I need to know what happens but everything in the middle is so good and juicy, it's impossible to skip! Her characters are diverse and you will definitely find the perfect rhimodian cyborg to love, who wouldn't?! They are large yet gentle, kind, and will fight to the death for the women who ease their "craving" like no one else in the galaxy.

This book has been a wonderful way to tell the younger sister's point of view and really see what all of the characters go through both on their home planet and on the cyborg's territory. It's a fantastic story that has all the emotions put into it to make a reader feel like they are really in the situations and I love when a book can do that! Candice did a great job!

About the author

USA Today and NY Times bestselling author Candice Gilmer leads a dangerous double life as a mommy and a writer.

In between boo-boo healing and fixing broken toys, she writes stories usually to the tune of children’s television shows.

Her books range from vampires and werewolves to mermaids and fairies to contemporary and fairy tale romances–a huge variety, just like her broad, geek-girl heart.

She adores Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, and DC, (you CAN love them all), and her hero will always be Captain America.

Growing up in the Midwest, Candice stays close to her family, especially the ones with basements when the tornadoes come around.

All in all, she stays very busy, but really, she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Well, maybe a little less children’s television.
