About this ebook

She’s at the mercy of her alien abductor. Can she seduce her way to freedom?

A vendor in the marketplace, human Tara Diehl has adjusted to the male-dominated caste system of planet Parseon better than most until she’s kidnapped by Commander Marlix, one of the five rulers of the planet. At first she’s terrified of her tall, muscled abductor, especially when he doesn’t hesitate to quell her struggle for freedom with corporal discipline. But after all her methods and ploys to escape fail, she decides to seduce her way to freedom.

But out of subterfuge grows a true intimacy that causes Marlix and Tara to unite against the caste system that governs their society. But their courageous stand pushes Parseon to the brink of a civil war and jeopardies their love and their lives.

Terran, the second book in the dark science fiction romance Breeder series, is an alien abduction romance involving an arrogant, handsome alpha alien and a female with a bad dye job and an even worse attitude.

** Received ARC for a fair and honest review ** Terran is Alpha/Commander Marlix and Tara's story and is the 2nd book in the Breeder series. This book could be read as a standalone, but I think you would lose a lot of the meaning and wouldn't make as much sense. Plus you are introduced to all the characters and the storyline in the first book, this is just my humble opinion. In the first book you meet Marlix and minorly Tara at the bazaar. Marlix in the first story is definitely not my favorite character, and I was very curious to see how the author would redeem him. Marlix is against the Bazaar and having foreigner's, but they are not in his province, and right now they have what he is looking for. When Marlix and his beta Urazi go into the bazaar for fabric, they are not expecting to meet someone like Tara, a female that is bold, seemingly fearless, carries herself like a warrior and doesn't kowtow to them, and this greatly intrigues Marlix. To Tara, Marlix and the men in their society are essentially a bunch of chauvinistic pigs. After Marlix makes a purchase and forgets an item, Tara makes a grave error and leaves the bazaar. When Marlix finds her injured, he grabs her and gets her medical care, but it really isn't that simple, and I don't want to spoil things for you. Ok so here are my thoughts... I really enjoyed this book, however in the beginning of the book Tara is this strong, confident and fearless woman, and then they weaken her overall as a female, she isn't this bold, brave, fearless female and that bothered me. I enjoyed the characters, the chemistry between them, interesting continuation of the previous storyline. I also liked how Marlix and even his beta Urazi are redeemed. Obviously that was going to happen or there wouldn't be a book, but I was not expecting things to unfold how they did, which is a good thing for me. This book moves quickly and was hard to put down. I am definitely looking forward to the next book! Hope this helps! Happy Reading!!!
