Cards of Love: Temperance was a great 5 star read. Leah is a unique counselor, she has sessions with people who need to be kept anonymous because of who they are. One that really stands out for her is Mr. C, she has skype sessions with him but yet has never seen him. After her sessions with him she is always worked up sexually from the things that he shares about his sex addiction. No woman has ever said no to me. At her Halloween party a mysterious man show’s up and gives her quite the sexual encounter, and boy it was mighty HOT. There is something familiar about this man. When she realizes who he is things take quite a turn. Let me have you, little bird. Let me set you free. Will she pursue her fantasies with Mr. C or will her job ethics get in the way? This novella was a quick hot as heck read, the scenes will leave you just as hot as Leah was in the book. Cassia does a great job of pulling you right in with the details. There was one scene that had me LOL, I would have died on the spot. I want a Mr. C too. I can’t help but want to see more from these two, I need to know what happens. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

This is a fast steamy read in a very creepy way. I figured out when Leah would meet Mr. C yet it kept me reading. I didn't care for Mr. C he had too much stalker in him, in my opinion. I liked Leah but I wanted her to make Mr. C work for it a little more. This is a novella and I thought Cassia Leo gave you enough backstory fast that you didn't feel like you were missing something. Overall this was a fun and entertaining read. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy.

I really loved this story, lots of forbidden and sexy times. It is only a novella but you learn so much about the characters which I loved. Mr C is sexy and has a way with words and you cant help but be captivated by his spell. Leah is a strong and honest character and I loved this about her. There was also some heartfelt moments in this story which made it perfect for me.
