About this ebook

This publication is the follow-up to the highly acclaimed book eVolo Skyscrapers. 150 new skyscrapers submitted to the eVolo Skyscraper Competition are categorized and examined. These super-tall structures take into consideration the advances in technology, the exploration of sustainable systems, and the establishment of new urban and architectural methods to solve economic, social, and cultural problems of the contemporary city; including the scarcity of natural resources and infrastructure and the exponential increase of inhabitants, pollution, economic division, and unplanned urban sprawl.

The content and presentation of this book, Evolo Skyscrapers 2, is excellent. Superb, stunning......... My concern is the format and the delivery of the book. The download took forever, the Book app locks up when reading or scrolling while in the book and general navigation is very slow. Because this is not available as an EPUB or PDF, I'm going to assume that the pages of the ebook are just photos of the actual book, which may explain it ginormous size. When zooming in on some of the images / pages, the quality of the text and the pictures is horrible and unreadable. I am having issues on 2 devices, a 2013 Nexus 7 and a Galaxy Tab S 8.3. I have reset the app, cleared the cache, reinstalled the app, called the Google help center.......nothing works. It would appear this book and it's sister book, Evolo Skyscrapers 1, may not be properly formatted, which is the main cause of all of the downloading, slow scrolling and other issues that I have seen. It would be beneficial if either the publisher, the author or the tech heads at google look into resolving the problem
