Kaden and Lexi...not the perfect couple and this is what really drew me into the story. I love that they have issues, and baggage, I mean who wants perfect characters!! I love the fact that Carly is able to make these two so dimensional while telling such a great love story. I have to say that Kaden and Lexi are my favorite couple that Carly has written (and I've read all of her books). I definitely cant' wait for the next in the Going Down series to come out.

Going Down Easy is the first book in Carly Phillips Billionaire Bad Boys series and what a way to kick off this new series! I was engaged from the first few words! Lexie Parker has always been the responsible one in her family. Her twin, Kendall, is bi-polar and while she's getting treatment, she isn't taking it as seriously as she should and Lexie is left to be her full-time caregiver all while still trying to work and have some semblance of a life. When Lexie loses her job because of tardiness caused by caring for Kendall, her Dad helps to get her a job as a PA for a man who is known to be more than difficult to work for. Kaden Barnes is a billionaire tech entrepreneur who always gets what he wants, even if that means intimidating people in order to get his way. When his business partners hire Lexie as his new PA, needless to say he's surprised, but intrigued, which is a new feeling for him. When Lexie stands up to him in their first meeting, he realizes that this woman might just be the person that he needs in his life, both personally and professionally. She gets him in a way no one else in his life has or does. Will insecurities and poor decisions from the past emerge to derail this couple before they really get started? And, will Lexie finally realize that she needs to live life for herself and not for her family? I loved the characters in this book and the way that the entire story unfolded. Both Lexie and Kaden were both strong and vulnerable in their own ways and it gave the story so much depth as they both floundered and then found their way through the challenges they were facing. I am so excited by this new series and I can't wait for the next book to be released!

I really enjoyed this one. It has heat, but it also has such sweet moments. I had some tears falling a couple of times. The characters are great and engaging. This book also brings awareness to mental health. Lexie's life revolves around her twin and how any given day she is coping. She has no time for herself, but her job brings her in contact with Kaden her new boss. He has some quirks and stuff he deals with every day as well, but that doesn't stop the instant attraction between the two. There is a black cloud looming over Kaden and his friend's company and add in what is going on in Lexie's life. Will their relationship be destined for failure? A well rounded book in my opinion. The ending was the icing on the cake. Can't wait for more from the series.
