3.5 Stars This is a book about lies, secrets, friendship, relationships, mental illness, affairs, and fighting sexual attraction. There are quite a few characters to get familiar with. Some are married. Some have children. Some are trying for a baby. Some have issues with their parents. The one thing they all have in common ... they all harbor at least one secret and will lie and lie and lie to keep those secrets from being exposed to the light of day. These people have known each other for many years .. some since childhood, some since college days. They all think they really know each other .. but they have no idea. I can't say I like any of them. They all are so flawed, so disturbing, but then, I'm sure that's what the author was hoping for ... and it worked. I got so wrapped up in all the angst and uncertainty and anger and wondering who was going to break and admit to something horrendous, that it was impossible to put this book down for any reason. The unexpected ending was my favorite part. The author has created characters that get in your head and refuse to let go. Many thanks to the author / Avon Books UK / Netgalley / TBC Reviewer Request Group. Opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.

Mental illness is such an unknown quantity, and makes this an unputdownable book. Don't make a mistake and miss reading this author.

It travels though the thoughts and feelings of people but lacks an ending that ties up all the paths. Felt I was waiting for something bigger to happen.
