I don't like this book as much as I like the rest of the series. "Behind the Mask" is full of action and suspense, which is something I love about the previous books as well. I'm just not sure about the characters in this book; at some stages, I didn't really like the main characters. I found one of the sex scenes rather disconcerting. During this scene, Hugo consentually chokes Zelda to the point of passing out. Perhaps, once you've read the scene within its given context, you will find it acceptable - it's just not my cup of tea.

This book was AMAZING!!! Hugo, Zelda, & Paolo we're fearless in what they did. I'm glad they became the family they wanted to be at the end as they always wanted. Again Carolyn out did herself!! Loved it wishing for more! 📖💟💖😀

Not as enjoyable as the rest of the books in the series. I didn't like Hugo at all.
