In the Fairy Tales Series Volume 3, we explore the tale of "Thomas the Rhymer." This book 66 page, fully illustrated book discusses the different kinds of tales that developed in the oral tradition and what differentiates them as genres; such as myth, legend, folk and fairy tale.

The origin and development of Thomas' tale is discussed, before moving into a discussion on shamanic elements in ancient European mythic belief.
