A great start to a new series. We have met Cross and his siblings before so it was great to revisit them. Hazel and her friends are a great group and their pact to find each other dates can only lead to some hilarious hook ups. Hazel has some serious issues to overcome and Cross is just the man to make her feel safe. This book takes us on an emotional journey and I can't wait to see what happens with Brady brothers.

I know this has alot of 5 stars, but I just couldn't get into the characters. I felt the conversations were stilted, and I couldn't feel any spark. I heard them say it, but couldn't feel it. I ended up flipping through the pages to read the ending chapters and epilogue. I don't think I'll read the others in the series.

So much unnecessary dialog, cheesy conversations, and not enough actual conversation between the two main characters. Found myself skipping over many of the words just to get to an interesting section of the story.
