About this eBook

Rule #1 - If you offer to help a guy win back his old girlfriend, donā€™t fall in love with him!

APRIL

GeeBee thinks sheā€™s sneaky, but Iā€™m on to her. When she sends me over to redesign Raceā€™s condo, I know what sheā€™s up to. GeeBee wants us to get married, just like my sister and his brother did.

But Iā€™m not Raceā€™s type. Heā€™s a rockstar, and I couldnā€™t carry a tune in a bucket if you held a gun to my head!

The good news is that Race is on my side. I told him heā€™s not my type either. Together, we should be able to foil GeeBeeā€™s plans to match us up.

RACE

April is helping me win back the woman I lost. Only, I'm not so sure I want her back anymore.

And now GeeBee is finding new matches for April. First, my old high school nemesis. And then my roommate.

Doesn't she realize those guys aren't good enough for April?

Itā€™ll take an act of desperation to get Aprilā€™s attention.

But I know her weaknesses: flowers, chocolate and (most important of all) throw pillows!

I just hope itā€™s not too late...

I was really looking forward to this one after realizing that Race not only has a secret past with a certain someone that apparently all his close ones love to hate, but he also has some scars from his past, as well as a deep, caring personality. In comes April, with her strong, no-nonsense attitude that's balanced by her artistic side, along with her fun, caring ways. I loved how these two opened up to each other while having to work together, and how they had in common their fierce loyalty and big hearts. It was a fun ride watching them fight their feelings while growing closer. Of course, there's bound to be some matchmaking from the grandmas, but since I enjoy Tamie Dearen's take on this trope, it was fun getting to see April going on her blind dates, and how it'd also play on Race's realization of his feelings. šŸ˜‚ If you're looking for a laugh-out-loud read, with great banter, as well as sizzling sweet chemistry, you can't go wrong with this one. Can't wait to read the next one!

Matchmaking is just what these grannies do and theyā€™re at it again. April is not interested in marriage. She needs to get her interior design business going and one important client could do that. Aprilā€™s gramma knew GeeBee or Grandma Bette who just happened to have a famous grandson, rockstar Race, who needed a condo redecorating. It was a simple business arrangement. But when the grannies get involved things are never what they seem. Prepare for a rollicking, fun ride!
