It's here. Book 3 has arrived! I love this series!! Happy to be back in the fantasy world of Lisane and Rhaim. And Finx!! Precious sweet Finx. Spidercat fans unite.🥰🥰 The final book, yes, the end has arrived for this love of a lifetime story. It picks up right where the last book ended. I started reading it and devoured every single word. I even tried to read slower so I could spend more time in this fairytale world. lol There are many more twists and turns as secrets start revealing themselves. Some are sad. Others are awful; and they do go back full circle to where it all began in book one. The only thing that Lisane wants to do is get back to her man despite the painful heartbreak she caused him. But how can she do that? Her family, guards, they're everywhere watching her every move. A prisoner in her tent, kept from the outside world once again. Can she use her magic? Time is the enemy. Her father wants to marry her off with little regard for her feelings. The Unicorn Queen must make a stand for herself. Will Rhaim trust her again? When these two come face to face again, I was like, yesss.🙌🏻 Finally!! What a moment. There's plenty of steam and spicy sizzle.🔥🥵🔥 We also get to read a little more about mages Sibyi and Wyrval too, the last true friends of Rhaim. Jelena is there as well, trying to help Lisane. With the pending war of the deathless escalating and Lisane making a fiery choice that will seal everyone's fate in one fell swoop, who will be left standing? I highly and totally recommend this series. Cassie Alexander did an excellent job. I love the art work that was included in Chapter 23. We also get a bonus in a modern retelling of Rhaim and Lisane. Book coming soon. How exciting! This was an excellent ending to this trilogy. So many secrets were revealed. Plus the unexpected twist at the end. And to think we might get to see our main characters again. I for one cannot wait. I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This ending was everything I could have hoped for and more. There are also so many things I want to talk about, but it's so hard without giving away spoilers. Instead I'm going to try to tell you how I felt while reading it without much context. I went from anger to sorrow, then quickly morphed into worry and slight anxiety. Then I felt hope and excitement, that flip flopped with sadness and anger. Then it was joy, excitement, and heat. Then I smiled so big my face hurt and my joy was hard to contain. I'm sure I've missed a few emotional twists and turns, but this about covers it. Oh! I forgot the moments of humor and Finx. I absolutely love Finx!Overall, this was a fantastic, adventurous read that had everything a magical retelling of Beauty and the Beast should have and the ending I've always craved.
