About this eBook

With him, are her dreams more out of reach than ever?

Evie Hernandez gave up her dream job to help with Mama Irene’s, the family business. Balancing her modernization plans while respecting generations of traditions isn’t easy, especially with her nosy, loving family offering unsolicited advice. That’s never more true than when she meets Alex—Mr. Tall, Dark and Far Too Handsome. He makes her wonder if she’s given up on her dreams too quickly, and soon she imagines a much different future for herself.

Alejandro "Alex" Ortiz is in Santa Fe to do business with Mama Irene’s, but when he meets the beautiful Evie, he realizes he’ll need a different approach. Soon he’s playing bartender, serving up horchatas, and sampling tamales, reminding him of his childhood and beloved Abuelita. Charmed by Evie and her family, Alex drops his guard and lets himself enjoy Santa Fe’s Christmas traditions. But he has a deadline to keep and a business to get back to—plus, Evie will hate him when she learns why he’s really there.

Can the magic of a Santa Fe Christmas help these two find their way?

A Santa Fe Christmas is such a heartwarming book that can be read any time of the year. Better yet there are amazing recipes included that will have you headed to the kitchen adding Tamale Thursdays to your week. Mamma Irene's is a la Familia or family-run tortilla and tamale factory, much like Luna's in Dallas is. Evie came home to help run the family business after her father"s heart attack. Alex is there to buy the business BUT her grandma or Abuelita did not tell Evie. She asked Alex to wait a while to tell her. Personally, I see a matchmaker in the Abuelita, This book is filled with Christmas magic and warmth and for me, I can actually smell while reading this book all the amazing foods from my family. It is one of the best Christmas reads this year. I hope this pair of writers Cecilia Guzman will continue this series with the rest of this wonderful family on both sides, Alex and Evie.

This is the perfect book for getting you into the Christmas spirit no major angst or drama just a couple finding their place in life and a man finding out what is really important Alejandro "Alex" Ortiz has come to Santa Fe to buy out a small Mexican food company what he didn't expect was to fall for the CEO of that company. Evie Hernandez has returned to Santa Fe and left her dream job to help out at the family business they have owned for generations only to learn that it is up for sale. Making matter s worse she could easily fall for the man who wants to take over the business. When a large order causes them all to work together Alex has to rethink his plans as he starts to remember his own traditional past.
