About this eBook

In this thriller in the #1 New York Times bestselling In Death series, Lieutenant Eve Dallas must solve the murder of an actress whose final role was to die for...

Lieutenant Eve Dallas is no party girl, but she’s managing to have a reasonably good time at the celebrity-packed bash celebrating The Icove Agenda, a film based on one of her famous cases. It’s a little spooky seeing the actress playing her, who looks as though she could be her long-lost twin. Not as unsettling, though, as seeing the actress who plays Peabody—drowned in the lap pool on the roof of the director’s luxury building.

Talented but rude and widely disliked, K.T. Harris made an embarrassing scene during dinner. Now she’s at the center of a crime scene—and Eve is more than ready to get out of her high heels and strap on her holster to step into the role she was born to play: cop.

The victim was a selfish, self centered woman with a cruel and ugly personality. Hell-bent on holding power over others, while making their lives miserable to get what she wanted, until someone had enough. As she and all the suspects are actors, filming a vid about the famous Icove case, (a prior In Death series book...so good) they are portraying Eve, Roarke, Peabody, and many other characters that I've grown to love, this story had me turning the pages with much excitement. Many possibilities as to who did the crime, as not one of her cast mates cared for her, and the fact that she was murdered. Suzie

While I've enjoyed the last few books that have been released, they haven't been my favorites and while I did like the answers/closure we got about Eve's "family" for me I've always enjoyed the mystery, the detective work and especially the cast of supporting characters (Baxter, Trueheart, Nadine etc) and they've been missing/severely reduced the last few books so it was great to have them back. The series is back on track for me.
