Chad V. Meister, PhD, is Professor of Philosophy at Bethel College. He is former head of Defenders, an apologetics ministry at Willow Creek Community Church. Chad developed the Apologetics Pyramid method highlighted in this book, which is based on his own journey from a spiritually seeking engineer to a convinced Christian philosopher. He has written or edited ten books, including: God is Great, God is Good: Why Believing in God is Reasonable and Responsible, co-edited with William Craig (IVP, 2009), Introducing Philosophy of Religion (Routledge, 2008), Reasons for Faith: Making a Case for the Christian Faith, co-edited with Norman Geisler (Crossway, 2007), and Evil: A Guide for the Perplexed (Continuum, forthcoming). He is also book review editor for Philosophia Christi.
