About the author

Susie is the third child born out of six children in Salt Lake City to parents who didn’t like or want any of their children from the very beginning. At the age of twenty in September 1978, her mother threw her out of the house to find her own way in life. Struggling to survive with her son, she went through a lot of depression trying to find out who and where she was headed. Then in the early fall of 1983, she met her would-be husband, and they would have one child together, a daughter born in December of 1986. Susie then went back to school and received her high school diploma. After that, she attended college, earning a degree license in cosmology/barbering, graduating with honors in 1992. She worked in cosmology for a few years and then started her own business in retail sales at a local mall in October of 2002 with her daughter by her side. In August 2005 she and her soul mate were happily married. She and her daughter ran the retail business together with the help of her husband until Susie started having health problems. In February 2013, after she had been writing this book for about a year and a half, she was struck with Bell’s palsy, leaving her totally paralyzed on the left side of her face. She could hardly pronounce words and struggled for people to understand her. Her left eye was frozen open, and the left side of her face dropped. Despite all of this, she was still trying to run her business with her daughter. Then on March 4, 2013, she was diagnosed with a large brain tumor in the center of her brain sitting on the pituitary gland, and the doctor said that it was bleeding, and the blood would dissolve the gland if not removed. It was pushing on the optic nerve, and she could go blind if not removed. The next day, they did surgery, which went well.

Then come October 2013 the family had to close the business so Susie could get her health back. Their daughter found another job, and she moved out on her own, leaving her parents to live happily ever after as we give all the glory to God.
