This is a very sweet, slow burn romance. Decker has just life his job as a police officer to go into work as a private investigator and his first job is to track down the newly discovered sister of a client. That sister happens to be Cara, daughter of a member of the Wind Dragon's MC. Her high school sweet heart is a Wind Dragon's member, they are now married and she never imagined not being with him, despite the fact that they seem to have grown apart and are no longer spending much of their time together anymore. At the start of the book she is questioning her relationship and how happy they really are together and if it isn't time to make a change. Soon after, Decker finds her and big changes start happening for both of them. I really enjoyed the story - you get to follow along as Cara and Decker first meet and get to know each other and build their relationship. The only thing to note is this more MC adjacent as opposed to being a true MC book. There is some action and suspense that kicks in because of a situation involving Cara's ex-fiancé, and both Cara and Decker are in the thick of it, but the MC itself is more of a side backdrop than a large part of the story.

Decker’s Dilemma by Chantal Fernando Knights & Dragons MC #1 Once again…a tame, easy to read, almost sweet MC romance without the gritty darker components of typical MC novels. That said, this is really a story of people who are not MC members but instead of a woman that grew up in the club but left to teach and yet is still considered a “princess” of the club as she is the daughter of a member. She ends up with someone also not in a motorcycle club though the two do have interactions with clubs at times in the story. What I liked: * Seth Decker: ex-cop, a bit of a player, footloose and fancy free, private investigator, has been involved with a case related to the Dragons MC and works with someone married to a member of that club. * Cara Ward: princess of the Knights MC, high school teacher, expected to be with Rhett-MC member, questioning her situation, ready to make some changes early in the story * Clover: best friend of Cara, grew up with Cara in the same MC club, married to Felix, FBI, has a baby girl, married to Felix * Felix: policeman, Seth’s police partner before Seth retired, loving husband and father, good friend * Simone: sister to Seth, dog groomer, potential main character for future book * Constance: half sister to Cara and the reason that Seth and Cara meet * The MC family vibe and strong ties within the club * The friendship between Cara and Clover and their strength * The way the situation that put Cara in danger was ultimately handled * That it was a relatively easy and quick read What I didn’t like: * Who and What I was meant not to like – Marko and his gang Note/Comment: If you are looking for a dark gritty MC romance – this is not the book for you. If you are looking for a lighter weight easy to read romance set in the MC world – this book might be for you. Did I enjoy this book? Yes Would I read more in the series? I think so Thank you to NetGalley and Carina Adores-Harlequin for the ARC – This is my honest review. 3-4 Stars

Love the New Start Cara is a club princess and a teacher who has hooked up with a member from another MC. Things are going great with the relationship so when Decker comes into the picture, they have this instant connection. Decker is a PI and is now trying to protect Cara since she is now being threatened by her ex’s enemies. I had loved the previous MC books from this author and this book was no different. She also brings suspense, chemistry, twists and turns into her stories. I can’t wait to read more from this series.
