Last Ride is a short novella by Chantal Fernando and is part of her Wind Dragons MC series. I was so excited to see this book since it revisits my favorite couple, Sin and Faye, the characters from the first book in the series. Sin and Faye are living the life. Sine is still the president of the Wind Dragons and Faye is still working as a lawyer for both the club and now the federal government. They have two beautiful children and all seems to be going right in their world, until the day Faye is kidnapped. Sin knows immediately something is wrong when he can’t get in touch with Faye. After everything the club and they have been through, Faye knows how important it is to keep her phone on her at all times. So when Sin can’t reach her he begins to panic and races to his club and brothers for help. This book is packed with tons of action and suspense as the boys charge in to rescue their queen and of course Faye has tons of scenes with her sarcastic and witty humor you can’t help but love. The series never gets old and I love how we have some new interesting characters and plots to focus on even if the ending of the book does break my heart a little. I won’t spoil it for anyone but it did bring a couple of tears to my eyes. I would highly recommend this book to everyone who loves this series. Just make sure you have read the other books in the series before you start this one! I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

There's never a dull moment around the Wind Dragons MC and this book packs a lot of action into just a few pages. Told from Faye and Sin's POV for the most part and as usual Faye has a way of finding trouble without even trying. Sin's brother shows up and causes all kinds of trouble. Talon and Ranger patch into the Wind Dragons and the traitor from Talon's old MC is found. This is a great catch up with all the characters we've grown to love in the past books. It's a fun quick read and one I definitely recommend.

This series has been excellent, however this book was anything but excellent. I preordered because I have never been disappointed by this author before. Story feels forced, disjointed, dialogue is wtf, reduce reuse and recycle is a great for lots of things just not books. Don't bother reading this story if you have read the others you have read this.
