Waiting Out On Love Temper was the Prez of the Knights of Fury MC and would pass through Nevada ever so often stopping at Frank's where the beautiful girl with amazing eyes always waited on him. Every time Temper would ask the beauty out on a date, she would say no. Until the one year he didn't. That's when Abbie asks Temper out much to his surprise. Let's just say that their date didn't go as planned because she in a gunfight and was then kidnapped by the biker and his men. He had to take her back to their clubhouse in LA for the club's protection and her's. Someone was after the Knights and Abbie as well but who could it be. Someone hired mercenaries to take them out and they had to get to the bottom of this before they were decimated. Oh, there were so many secrets that surrounded them but one thing wasn't a secret and that was the chemistry between Temper and Abbie. This book read fast and kept the action and that rollercoaster ride feeling coming from the first page until that last. I highly recommend this book for all you MC lovers out there!!

This is forty-two year old, Knights of Fury President Tommy aka Temper, and twenty-eight year old bar waitress Abbie’s story line. TEMPER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Told from first person perspective (Abbie) TEMPER follows the building relationship between forty-two year old, Knights of Fury President Tommy aka Temper, and twenty eight year old bar waitress Abbie. For close to five years, every time his MC passed through Vegas on their way to California, Temper has returned to Abbie’s bar, in the hopes of convincing our heroine to go out on a date but when Abbie finally agrees to go out with Temper, nothing goes according to plan and Abbie finds herself a temporary prisoner of the Knights of Fury MC. An attack against the MC, and the resulting death of a rogue for hire, finds Abbie under the protection of the Knights of Fury, a protection that is also meant to determine if and when she is able to go home. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Abbie and Temper, and the potential fall-out as a familiar enemy begins to orchestrate a take-down of the Knights of Fury MC. All of her life Abbie has been warned, by her mother, to stay away from the bikers and their dangerous lifestyles but little did Abbie know that her world was about to spiral out of control when secrets and lies begin to reveal. Temper doesn’t do relationships but something about Abbie calls to Temper’s heart. There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters including Saint and Skylar, Temper, Trade, Dee, Chains and Crow, as well as the introduction of drug kingpin Grayson Palmer, Abbie’s sister Ivy, their mother, and the return of Skylar’s mother Georgia. TEMPER is a story of family, friendships, secrets and lies; of betrayal and revenge; of revelations and truth. The premise is engaging and captivating; the romance is passionate and intense; the characters are numerous, charismatic and seductive . I will add that I wish the story line was told in dual perspectives as we are completely oblivious to the behind the scenes of the Knights of Fury MC-their numerous jobs, meetings and frequent trips to gather intel and meet with other MCs. In this, I felt there could have been so much more potential to the story line and thusly the series as a whole.

So far, the Knights of Fury MC series has been everything I look for in a MC romance. They are gritty, dangerous, exciting, and steamy. And Temper and Abbie's story is a slow burn that fits right in with the rest of the MC! It starts off kinda slow (for the first few pages!), but quickly blows up, catching my attention, and not letting it go until the very end! Abbie is a small town girl, who believes strongly in family, loyalty, and love. She gave up her dreams of college and career, to come home and help her mother save the family business following a debilitating illness. Her loyalty is put to the test when year after year, a hot biker asks her out, but she always turns him down, knowing it won't be able to go any where. Until she says yes...... Temper is a hot biker, who knows what he wants, and has the patience to wait for it, because he knows it will be worth it. (He's persistent, I have to admit!) Just when it finally looks like everything is going his way, things go sideways. He makes split second decisions, and knows they will probably destroy his chance at happiness with the girl of his dreams. Abbie and Temper are perfect for each other, despite everything that is standing in their way. I had my doubts that they'd be able to get past it all, that they'd work their way through everything, but I really should have known! With these guys, they always manage to find true love and happiness in the end!
