关于此电子书

“Om …..”The deep resonant sound seemed emanating from deep inside his guts … ascending along his spine … gradually reaching the base of his skull … entering his brain….
It seemed to him that Time had become stationary … it had lost the meaning of direction, the past … the present … the future …. It’s a totally eerie feeling. Was it the Alpha point? Or, the Omega?
Suddenly he felt a peculiar tremor in his lower belly. It seemed to take its origin at the end of his spine. Then it entered his pelvis. It ran along his Auerbach’s plexus, then along the Pelvic splanchnic nerve … to the Nervii Erigentis … & touched the base of his organ. At that moment his whole body shivered by an unknown sensation as if he had touched a live-wire. His flaccid organ, which hitherto never knew the meaning of the word erection, now leaped into a fully aroused state. The sensation, the discovery was so sudden, so unexpected, so novel, that he just could not fathom his feelings. The long standing helplessness, the inferiority complex, the deep sorrow inside him just opened like a lock gate, & his gratefulness to the Almighty ran down as a flood of tears ….

This is a story of an impotent man.
Soumya is impotent. But he is a man. Like every other man he has his likings, his love. But the cruel society has failed to accept him as a man. He has become a fugitive, always on the run from the society, carrying his impotency with him. But he loves the life, & he lacks the mental strength to deny it. His love of life is expressed through his poems, through his camera. This love has lead to him into an improbable marriage knowing fully well his physical incapability. But hard life with its iron hand has stricken him with vengeance, injuring his body, his mind, his soul. Shattered as he is, Soumya runs away from his home, his poems, his love. He runs from place to place, from temples to temples, from sacred places to sacred places. He never wanted to be a pilgrim, but fate makes him one- a pilgrim to the monasteries of virtues, & of sins.
This is the story of the journey of Soumya, a journey inwards. “Charaibeti” - the eternal teaching of the Upanishads – to march forward to the ultimate goal of life – has become a reality in his own life. Walking along the road of life, unlike most of us, he has reached the gate of the Truth. But can he enter through it?
