Read the books, skip the show tbh. (Though. The show had lots of Lafayette... loved him to bits.) But the books are way better. I loved them. Charlaine writes how people think and I love that writing style.

If this book did not have the rudimentary steamy scenes, if could very well be a YA book. This is the first time I have ever been against the vampire, in a vampire novel. Too much inconsequential detail.

This is such a great story. The world building is absolutely amazing. I love how the author creates a whole variety of characters. Some of them i absolutely adore and some I cannot stand. I experienced a lot of emotions in this book. The plot was such an intriguing phone with different layers that tie together so beautifully. I absolutely recommend this story.
