I enjoyed this very unique perspective by Briggs on the Life of Jesus, his thoughts on the arrangement of Gospel material is interesting to say the least. I found his suggestions that new material was inserted to the Original Work entertaining cause I never considered that before. He provides little proof of this, I would suggest as original authors will sometimes update their owns works for various reasons that this could be the case.
