They wrestle and roll and chase each other around their yard, having fun. They are almost old enough to fend for themselves, and Mother is teaching them how to hunt for dinner and to use their five sensessmell, touch, taste, see, and hear. They try to catch their food but cant stop playing around.

Barbara McCauley was born and lives in Adelaide, South Australia, with her partner and a handful of animals. She has four adult children and a granddaughter. She enjoys writing stories and has written a full-length stage play, children’s stories, and is currently studying and writing more stories for children. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, travelling, and cross-stitching.
