I absolutely loved all of the books on the Hart siblings finding love after so many trials and tribulations Being from SA myself i understood the references and could really get into their stories Charmaine Pauls writes these characters brilliantly and you live their pain and hopes and fears and triumphs through each precious page I encourage everyone to read these series about the Hart clan to its conclusion The books have a well thought through character build, accurate adventures and realistically livable plot lines Just the perfect amount of sass and dominance, heartbreak and triumph The most amazing reads in a long time Perfection Trully ❤️

Imperfect Affections by Charmaine Pauls is full of steam, suspense and strong characters. Violet and Leon's enemies to lovers romance will capture your heart. Leon is more towards antihero side in this story. His past makes it hard to trust people and open up. And Violet's betrayal hit him badly. So he was acting in a ruthless way. But I loved that the author did not drag the drama or revealing the secret about Violet's true motives. That kept the drama and suspense interesting. And after the disclosure you get to see the alpha possessive protective side of Leon. Violet is a very admirable and powerful character. She fought for independence and respect all her life. Fighting against degradation for her physical disadvantage. Fighting against her controlling evil stepfather. Fighting for her mother and their freedom. She is fierce but Leon's initial callousness and rudeness broke her too. The emotions were raw and angsty. You can easily and deeply feel all their emotions. (ARC review)
