Cas had already suffered an evening of bad luck with the date from he ll - But the worst is far from over as she soon finds herself the victim of a carjacking - it's not even her car!! Ian has his reasons for taking Cas. Never said the man was sane but he is a thief and he never hesitates to take what he wants And right now? For the night? He wants Cas. This starts out fast-paced and explosive and the fallout from one moment's lustful decision just continues It was a bit like Dominos- once the first one falls the momentum just picks up taking out everything in its path And Ian put Cas front and center This ends on a "hold on tight things are about to get rough" moment - not really a cliffy perse more like a "No way!" type of ending - It is part of a duet Ian and Cas were combustible together - They fit and there were no games between them. Ian means what he says. And Cas? She loves to strike his fuse just to watch the fallout The real twists pick up in the last few chapters I have all kinds of questions and no clues yet Though I did see the screwup coming

Talk about Dark, Dangerous and Deeply Delicious, this book is intense and at times I found myself shouting at my kindle (lol) I devoured this book in one sitting never coming up for air. This book has it all, incredible complex characters, suspense in spades, romance, edginess and thrilling erotic scenes. Told in dual POV, we get the story of Ian Hart professional thief, a criminal who has made a lavish life for himself in South Africa and somebody who gets what he wants and that person is Cassandra Joubert (Cas), who is just about keeping her head above water, but strong and sassy. Ian sees Cas when she is on a date with Mint at the casino he and his gang are just going to heist, He follows them and intercepts there car taking Cas as hostage also Mints car. For Ian it was just to be one night however with lust on both sides which Cas knew was wrong, neither of them expected the fall out that would occur when he returned her home the following day. Ian can’t forget Cas and returns but has he become complacent which could become there downfall??? The police are hot on Cas’s trail but who is she escaping from them or Ian??? The cliffhanger at the end just makes you yearning for book two and some answers!!! I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I was totally happy to provide.

We are introduced to Ian Hart who along with his brother Leon and a third male make up the phantom gang notorious thief’s that have evaded the authorities for years. When Ian whilst doing a job sees civilian Cas he is instantly besotted with her so taking a risk he orchestrates it so they very unconventionally get to meet and get better acquainted. But his presence in her life puts Cas in the crosshairs of the police and her unwillingness to cooperate could see her being labelled as an accomplice. Stuck between a rock and a hard place Cas will need to decide just who to trust the man that equally repels and entices her she fears him as much as she wants him or the police who want to use her to achieve their own ends. Neither option is what she wants and Whatever choice she makes she doesn’t win. So this one was more dark suspense rather than romance, Ian is a bloody sweetie a deadly controlling and dangerous one but lovely all the same well if you disregard the gun oh and the threats and that he’s wanted by the police. He is literally obsessed with Cas and she as much as she is intrigued and turned on by him is also equally scared of him as well. Cas knows exactly what he’s capable of she’s under no illusions and realises she’s playing with fire. This is the first book in a trilogy with all of them releasing this year. Though part of an interconnected series dealing with siblings within the same family this trilogy can be read as a stand-alone but I do recommend picking up the other books in this series as they really are good reading. This one I thought had a slightly lighter flavour than the others. More romantic suspense than dark romance. I really enjoyed this and can’t wait to find out where this goes next. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Stolen Lust.
