A interesting take on the little mermaid in adult form.I found the story to be funny and entertaining at times. The male characters are a sexy combo. The female character felt like seeing through an average life of work, eat and sleep dreaming of something but not knowing what might be. I didn't find her intelligence lacking in my opinion. When dealing with doubts, insecurities and relationships your mind is just not 100% clear or sane. I applaud this author and thanks for the entertaining ending. 😉

I hate to do this. I don't give books low reviews. But this book is genuinely just that bad. The writing was self-deprecating towards the author in a way that constantly took you out of the story. The inner dialog of the main character was also very immature for her age and beyond repetitive.

I normally only give star reviews and leave. but this was just... the author's self-deprecating notes was too much for me. the story has great hope just not for this main character/writing style
