Bob Freeman was born and raised in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, New York. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Lowell and a master’s degree in marketing from New York University. When he is not playing competitive tennis, or teaching adult writing classes in high school or community centers, he continues to submit articles and short stories to national magazines. His co-authored novel, “Kid Twist,” is the story of Abe Reles, head of Murder Inc., and was published in 2004. With his wife, Rosalie, they co-authored, “Women of a Certain age,” published in 2013. He has completed three other adult novels based on crime, science fiction and romance. He was awarded a special prize for his unique, aggressive dialogue by a literary agency. His novel, “a.k.a...Jimmy Smith,” a novel of crime and romance was published in 2011. After working 35 years as a research chemist and sales manager, he retired and lives with his wife and sometimes collaborator of 60 years, Rosalie, in Boynton Beach, Florida. They have three sons and ten grandchildren.
