Loved the start when we first meet Jett and the whole piercing scene is sexy and a fave part to read. The next fave parts are easily when Lily FINALLY gets physical with Jett. However the story dries up quickly after that. Lily is frustrating in her virgin ways for a 21 year old. She is babied way too much. I struggled to understand what age Jett was. Is he 24 or older? I felt a man in his early-mid 20s would not typically talk about life the way that he does. And we would all love a man who reassures us all the time the way he does Lily but it then becomes predictable and unbelievable. I also found myself thinking back to my first experiences throughout my life and how I wish things had been somewhat different had I had the knowledge of what to expect. The book was good. Needed more sex scenes.

4 1/2 stars!!!! What a great story! It's compelling, sensual, and whimsical. Right from the very first page, I was hooked. It starts off with a "WOW" intense moment and continues like that through the rest of the book until it ends with a "WOW" intense moment. SO GOOD! I love the Gallos. I love every character in this book... even the "Pee-Pee". I don't know how Chelle Bliss does it but the "Pee-Pee" definitely feels like one of the characters in this book. Hysterical and sometimes pitied. The poor thing. Love the romance between Jett and Lily. You could feel their connection, you can also feel the hatred her Dad has for him. Mike Gallo gives us plenty of laughs in Blaze. So does Gigi and Tamara, those girls are almost as intense as Izzy Gallo. Blaze is a friends to lovers story. A nerdy girl gets the cool guy story. A daddy's little girl loves the bad boy story. A story of how Lily Gallo finally gets the man of her dreams, Jett Michaels! Bring on Ignite! I need more Gallos!!!

I liked it, but also don't.. Lily is a bit indecisive and most of the time she's like a parrot, repeating what her cousins and Jett said, not much of a character. The progress of her character took more than half of the book to develop, there's so much: "does he really like me?", "Should I go with it", at first it was enjoyable, but if you throw often it's a bit stretch and frustrating.. Don't get me wrong, because I Love Ms. Chelle's books and I've read all the 1st Gallo series, but this one is not for me. There's not much going on, hence I'll give this a 3.8 star.
